Woolworths Group has announced the resignation of managing director of Woolworths Supermarkets, Natalie Davis.
Natalie will be leaving Woolworths Group to pursue an exciting external opportunity at Ramsay Health Care.
Natalie joined Woolworths Group in 2015, initially as director of Customer Transformation for the Australian Food business before becoming the Group’s chief transformation officer.
Natalie also spent two years as managing director, Woolworths New Zealand before returning to Australia to take up the role of Managing Director, Woolworths Supermarkets in 2020.
“Natalie has played a key role in the transformation of Woolworths Group and Woolworths Supermarkets in Australia and New Zealand,” said Woolworths Group CEO, Brad Banducci.
“We want to thank Natalie for her commitment to our Customers, Team and the Communities we serve and helping make us Better Together. We wish her every success in her new role.”
Natalie will continue in her current role until the end of September with a search process for her replacement underway.
Upon Natalie’s departure, chief commercial officer, Australian Food, Paul Harker and director of Woolworths Stores, Jeanette Fenske, will report directly to incoming Woolworths Group CEO Amanda Bardwell on an interim basis.
Bardwell said despite the departure, she is confident the Australian food business will be in good hands
